Day 13 – Back to the city

We left the Ger camp at the National Park early and as we drove closer to the city, the traffic became denser. Once back in Ulaanbaatar we experienced the notorious traffic jams and the quietness, wastness and calmness of the country outside the capital felt like a distant memory. But we quickly adjusted back to city mode, and after a quick lunch at the hotel, we made our way to the city center for sending some postcards and last minute souvenir shopping. The evening concluded with a culture show which featured dancing, acrobatics, music and traditional throat singing and a farewell dinner.
